A graduate of University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria with a B.Sc. Petroleum Geology he also has a Certificate in Drilling Engineering with an emphasis on oil well drilling fluids which he got in Houston, Texas.

Other courses he attended include: Total Quality Management conducted by Phillips consulting in Lagos, Exploration drilling / completion cost controls methods & assessments conducted by E & P Solutions (Baker Hughes Inteq) drilling management team out of UK for Moni Pulo Petroleum Limited. AutoCAD Engineering Software Course and Information management systems course from International Data Management services Ltd, Ikeja Lagos.

Mr. Tariye George has been a Consultant Technical Manager to a good number of oil and gas services companies in helping them position profitably.

He is a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers and the National Association of Petroleum Explorationists.
